TAKE THE JOURNEY

Intentional: An 8-Session Bible Study.

"Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil. So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is."

Ephesians 5:15-17

about Tara Owens

I could take you through the introduction of where I grew up, how many years I lived in this place or that place, and perhaps you would find it interesting, or not. What I would like for you to know about me is that I grew up in the local church. That’s a huge part of getting to know me. I love the local church, and I love what it has done in me, through me, and for me. The local church has been instrumental in growing me into a woman who longs to know Jesus and serve Him.

Hello, I want to invite you to join me on an Intentional Journey. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to share with you the teachings from my 8 session Bible Study, Intentional, Life's Lessons from Jesus on the Road to Emmaus. These teachings are meant to encourage you in your everyday decisions as well as help you focus on Jesus's plans and purposes for your life. Life has many ups and downs. The challenges and obstacles we face can often make us feel helpless and hopeless. What you and I need to know and understand is that Jesus is there in the ups and downs of life. He is there in the cacophony of life. I am sure you will find these teachings impactful whether you download the audio or digital files for revisiting at your leisure or purchase the CD's or DVD's.

I would love to hear how you are being impacted. If you have not purchased the Bible Study book, please do and share it with others. Remember each day holds an unprecedented number of intentional moments. Stay on the journey and witness the power of Jesus Christ in your life.

Live With Intention,

Tara

Moments

I am committed to seeking the Lord's instruction in sharing life's lessons with you of intentional, life-changing moments. These moments are not necessarily magnanimous in nature, but they are important. The cacophony-noise of life can sometimes drown out the beautiful and meaningful ways God is moving in our lives, directing us, desiring relationship with us, as well as teaching us. As the lessons are written monthly, please feel free to share how your life is impacted by EMAILING US.

Scripture

of the Month

2 Timothy 3:16-17 tells us "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,  that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."  My desire is to share a Scripture of the Month to help you focus on intentional life application, so that you can experience the fullness of Him in your life.

your Story

We all have a story because we are all on a journey. When we hear others share their disappointments, trials, joys, sorrows, hopes, we feel a sense of belonging; we are not alone. We are also encouraged to not give up. The life lessons others have learned or are learning become tools for us, inspiring us to press on, relying on Jesus who is more than able to carry us through. These stories show us that no matter what we encounter, Jesus is with us on the journey. We learn to listen to His voice and trust His plans

Testimonials

Wow! I am so impressed with Tara's fresh, relevant,  pragmatic, devotional approach, and perspective to this significant subject matter. It really appears as though she had a Theo pneumatic moment as it pertains to the insightful revelation encouched in her approach.  The fact is our intentions and being intentional can be the fuel that propels us, or the impediment and albatross that restrains us.  The scripture declares, who considers building a tower without first sitting down to count up the cost, which simply means being intentional.  Tara has always had an authentic relationship with God that is crystallized in her approach to marriage, family and ministry. I believe that many of us will be arrested by what the Spirit is saying through her and our lives will be transformed as we apply these principles being INTENTIONAL!!!!!!

Reviews

Supporting ministries has always been a part of my life.

As I was praying about which ministry to link to my website, the answer came clearly through a conversation with another sister in Christ. I am confident that when you visit Hearts for Kylee and see the wonderful ways God is using the pain of one family to encourage many, you too will want to support this foundation.
