Successful Collaboration

Collaboration is needed in all areas of our lives. We interact with multiple people, diverse in race, and personality. How we work together determines the outcome and progress. During this season of my life I have taken time to dig deep and assess relationships in which I collaborate well in my personal life and work life. How is this done?

I take time to quiet my mind and focus on current relationships, I assess the people in my life, but also myself. We are all flawed individuals. It is important to be aware of our idiosyncrasies as we build relationships.

During my assessment I was able to come to peace and understand that some relationships caused tension and conflict. Within, I knew it was time to move on. In these situations, we must respect one another as we move in different directions.

As we come to the end of another year, we all must intentionally examine ourselves and our relationships. Many of our goals and dreams are hindered due to a lack of successful collaboration. Genesis 1:26 is a scripture I meditate on. God said, "let us make man in our image." God Himself shows the success of collaborative efforts. The words, "let us" reveal there was collaboration between God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

Don't ignore areas in your life and your relationships where improvement or change is needed to reach mammoth goals and dreams. Ask the Lord to give you the sagacity to move forward. If God allows you to see 2019, be determined to be Intentional about your collaborative efforts in all areas of your life!.
